Responsibilities

Under direction of the Director of Finance, the Finance Department is responsible for all financial transactions of the Village, including:

  • Financial reporting
  • Collection of revenues
  • Maintenance of the general ledger
  • Accounts payable
  • Payroll / Human Resources
  • Reception / Information
  • Investment of Village funds
  • Capital assets

The Department is comprised of three full-time employees. The Department is also responsible for the preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and the Annual Operating Budget.

Our mission is to provide exceptional customer service to residents and businesses, other Village departments, and other governmental agencies by maintaining fiscal responsibility, monitoring and reporting financial activity on a regular basis, and maintaining procedural control.
