Willowbrook Police Department Policy Update
The Willowbrook Police Department routinely updates its policies and operational procedures to remain in compliance with current laws and to reflect best practices in modern law enforcement.
Illinois Public Act 103-1071
In accordance with Illinois Public Act 103-1071, the Department has implemented a policy that explicitly prohibits law enforcement officers from knowingly or willfully engaging in any act of sexual penetration with a suspect in a prostitution-related criminal investigation during the course of that investigation.
This prohibition has been formally incorporated into the Department's Investigative Operations General Order, which can be found here.
