Potable Water Supply
The Village of Willowbrook receives 100% of its daily potable water supply from Lake Michigan. As a member of the DuPage Water Commission, the Village has been receiving an average of approximately 1,000,000 gallons of water per day since January 1, 1992 and is able to provide enough water to meet even the highest demand on the warmest summer days.
Lake Michigan water is a higher-quality source than the combination deep and shallow wells that have provided water to Willowbrook in the past.
