Annual Inspections
In order for the Village to comply with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations, the Village of Willowbrook requires any structure, business, or residential with an RPZ device (backflow prevention) to have it inspected annually by a licensed plumber.
All properties with lawn irrigation systems, including single-family and multi-family residences, are required to have a Reduced Pressure Zone (RPZ) device installed and inspected annually. If you are installing an RPZ for the first time, a permit is required. Please submit your permit application through the Village’s online public portal. Following each annual inspection, a certification form must be submitted to: bsionline@backflow.com.
