Historic Willowbrook
Members of the public are invited to submit photos to the Village of Willowbrook taken during any point in the Village’s 62 years of history! In the next coming months, a collection of these photos will be selected for display within the Village’s new Community Resource Center! Anyone with historical photos on hand is encouraged to participate and help support the continuation of our Village’s historical record!

- Photos should be submitted via email to aarteaga@willowbrook.il.us, please use the subject line “CRC Photo Project.” The email should include the following: the name of the photographer or person providing the photograph; the date when the photo was taken (estimated dates are ok!); the location within Willowbrook where the photo was taken (if known); and a general description of the subject matter.
- Photos can be horizontal or vertical . They must be in JPEG, PNG, PDF, or TIFF format. Generally speaking, iPhone photos can meet this standard if they are emailed at the largest file size, referred to as the “actual” size. @(Model.BulletStyle == CivicPlus.Entities.Modules.Layout.Enums.BulletStyle.Decimal ? Submission and Consent Guidelines for Providing Photos to the Village of Willowbrook
By submitting a photo for this project, you agree to grant the Village of Willowbrook and their contractors and authorized agents a royalty-free, irrevocable right to reproduce, publish, distribute, perform, display, or otherwise feature the photograph or video in any and all media and for any and all purposes. By submitting a photo for this project, you further agree that the Village of Willowbrook shall have no obligation or requirement to provide any compensation of any kind to you or any other party.
Submitted photographs must not infringe the privacy rights, or any other rights of any person. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any photograph or video containing an image of a person has been taken with the permission of that person (or, when under 18, the consent of their parent or guardian) and any necessary permissions required to have their image submitted for this project have been obtained.
Submitted photographs must not infringe on the copyright of any third party. By submitting a photo or video, you acknowledge that you or someone you are associated with created the photo and that you own, or otherwise have the right to use, the associated copyright. Copyright of a photograph submitted for this activity remains with the respective entrants.
The Village of Willowbrook will not seek permission, and by your submission of the photo you agree to waive any such right to grant permission, to reuse an image after it has been submitted.
The Village of Willowbrook has no obligation to publish or use or retain any photographs you submit.
