Village Code Update
The Village of Willowbrook Village Board approved the adoption of the 2024 International Codes (ICC) and 2023 National Electric Code (NEC). The update took effect on January 1, 2026.
These updates are intended to:
- Align Village regulations with current safety and construction standards
- Reduce unnecessary local amendments
- Provide greater consistency and clarity for property owners, contractors, and design professionals
Please contact us for additional information. Applicants with active or pending permits should continue to follow the current adopted codes until the new codes take effect.
