The Village of Willowbrook contracts with Clarke Mosquito Management to help control mosquito populations. The next community-wide mosquito spraying treatment is scheduled beginning at dusk today, August 31, 2020. The Clarke Mosquito Management trucks will be in operation throughout the Village beginning at dusk to dawn. The product used is a botanical insecticide, listed and approved for use in residential areas. The treatment is applied by a truck and is performed between dusk and dawn when adult mosquitoes are most active. This spraying is one part of the Village’s overall mosquito management plan, and is being done this evening in response to confirmed adult mosquito activity.
