The Village of Willowbrook has conducted a Request for Proposal (RFP) for refuse services for our single-family homes within our community. The lowest, most responsible bidder for the RFP was Groot Industries. As such, effective August 1, 2020, Groot Industries will be providing refuse/recycling/optional yard waste service to our single-family residents.
Groot Industries will deliver to each residence a 65-gallon refuse and recycling cart the week of July 27th. Residents will receive one exchange of their cart size at no charge within 30 days of delivery. If the household would prefer 95 or 35 gallon refuse cart service, you can email your name, address and desired cart size to Willowbrook@groot.com.
The refuse service pickup date will change beginning in August 2020 from a Thursday pick up to a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday pickup, depending on your home address. Please see the map for your new pickup service date.
Republic Services last date of refuse service will be Thursday, July 30, 2020. Republic Services will pick up their refuse/recycling and yard waste carts starting on Thursday July 30th. Please leave your carts within the parkway for pick up by Republic Services.
Residents that have un-used Republic Services Stickers can receive a refund from the Village of Willowbrook by stopping in at the Village Hall (835 Midway DR, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.) by August 15, 2020.
