COMING SOON... Phase 4 of Restore Illinois
As you are no doubt aware, this Friday, June 26th, Illinois moves into Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois Plan. I am attaching a copy the Governor’s Plan with this alert. As we move forward, it is vitally important that all of us be aware that there ARE still limitations in Phase 4, and it is up to each one us to act responsibly by following the CDC as well as ILDPH (sanitation and yes, face masks) guidelines during this new Phase. Please take the time and read what will be in place for each of the categories. One of the changes in Phase 4: Gathering & Spacing Requirements that apply to not only Social Events, Restaurants, and Bars but other categories too. As we approach July 4th celebrations, we want everyone to enjoy the holiday while following relevant Phase 4 guidelines. Please be mindful that 50 people is the maximum for your event or business, dependent on the capacity of the venue. Please see the attached flyer for details
We have been able to flatten the curve in our area because our residents and business owners have continued to make smart, and at times difficult, decisions to protect themselves and those around them. The last thing any of us wants is for a resident or group to disregard the guidelines because they feel that COVID-19 is over, putting so many others at risk. COVID-19 is not over. So please, for the sake of our community and families that we all want to protect, use caution and follow the new guidelines. Want to help more? Shop and dine in our community; restaurants and business are anxious to see you again.
Thank you,
Mayor Frank Trilla
