[ARCHIVED] Updated: Madison Street under I-55 will be closed September 19th

Updated: IDOT is closing Madison Street under I-55 tonight, September 19, 2017, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic will be detoured along both frontage roads and County Line Road. The roadway will be re-opened by 5 a.m. Their work should need only one night so no additional nighttime closures are anticipated.

IDOT rescheduled their work on Madison Street from Monday night due to overnight rainstorms. The work is part of IDOT's project to install traffic monitoring fiber-optic communications along the Stevenson Expressway.
