[ARCHIVED] Willowbrook Police Warn Residents of Phone Scam

Phone scammers are calling residents and advising them that they have computer problems. The scammers advise that they are from your Internet provider, and attempt to get information from residents to fix their computers. The scammers are attempting to access your home computer remotely. The random phone number used by the scammers is (646) 612-3456.

The Willowbrook Police Department advises residents not to accept random phone calls offering services, and to contact their internet provider directly if they believe there is a problem with their internet service.
