On Friday, July 11th, the Willowbrook Parks & Recreation Department held their annual Touch a Truck event. The successful event attracted over 300 children and their parents to the Hinsdale Lake Commons Shopping Center for a morning of discovery and fun. The Village would like to thank all of the volunteers who brought vehicles to the event including: Tri-State Fire Protection District, Gower School District, US Post Office, Willowbrook Police Department, US Army Reserves, Integrated De-Icing Services, Republic Services, and Dr. Alexis Newman for the Mobile Veterinarian Ambulance.
