The Village of Willowbrook is proud to acknowledge that the Pleasantview Fire Protection District has improved its’ Insurance Services Office (ISO) Public Protection Classification (PPC) from Class 3 to Class 2. A Class 2 rating places Pleasantview FPD in a very unique category of being ranked in the top 1.25% of all fire departments nation-wide. Pleasantview FPD is among the top 550 departments out of the 47,250 fire departments across the country. This is a tremendous accomplishment that required an extensive examination of the entire department. The evaluation reviewed every aspect of Pleasantview FPD’s operation from their ability to handle and receive emergency calls, available water supply, and a top-to-bottom review of their operations including their ability to respond to and mitigate all types of emergency incidents.
