The Illinois Department of Transportation will be repairing and patching the I-55 bridge over Madison ST and is planning a two-month detour for southbound Madison ST under I-55. This detour could start next week and last until late October. Northbound Madison ST will be unaffected; however, southbound Madison ST will be detoured to southbound IL Route 83, then Central AV/South Frontage RD, and end on South Frontage RD/79th ST at Madison ST.
