At the beginning of December, the Village of Willowbrook installed twenty-five banners throughout the community, primarily on arterial streets. The banners help mark the Village's 50th anniversary, which is January 18, 2010. The idea for the banners came from the 50th Anniversary Committee, who is organizing commemorative events throughout the year. The banners include the Village's new logo and the "Commemorate and Celebrate" slogan that was adopted by the 50th Anniversary Committee.
