Water Department
Willowbrook Water Supply
The Village of Willowbrook receives
one hundred percent (100%) of its daily potable water supply from Lake
Michigan. As a member of the DuPage Water Commission, the Village
has been receiving an average of approximately 1 million gallons of
water per day since January 1, 1992 and is able to provide enough water
to meet even the highest demand on the warmest summer days. Lake
Michigan water is a higher quality source
than the combination deep and shallow wells that have provided
water to Willowbrook in the past. The Village continues to maintain its
deep well, which could operate as a reliable backup source in an
emergency.
